Dick was born in the Netherlands. He studied economics and finance and obtained a bachelor's degree in HR management at the Hogeschool of Utrecht, in the Netherlands. He started his professional career as director of a finance and tax consultancy. Moving through higher management functions in corporate business, management consultancy and interim management, he became managing partner and senior consultant at Ideas4.
Dick is a certified management consultant (CMC) at the Dutch Institute for Management Consultants /OOA and the International Counsel of Management Consultancy Institutes (ICMCI). He also is a certified consultant in organisational culture at Itim Focus and certified Trimetrix assessor (drives, behaviour and talents) at MDI-Improved learning.
Dick's strength lies in his ability to combine his expertise, knowledge, sharp analytical skills and his highly developed empathic skills. He is known as a natural interculturalist.
Dick speaks Dutch, English and German.
